Email Event Invitations - May Edit Sections

Creating email event invitations is quick and easy!

Customize the event information by selecting the desired sections already uploaded in the event editor.

Use the May Edit Sections option to add to, delete or edit section content, or if sending immediately.

TIP: If entering text at the top of the email, do so prior to inserting the event.


1. Email Editor > MESSAGE > select an insert > click Event

TIP: To insert offline event click toggle switch to YES.



2. Choose event using the select by title menu or click on a date in the select by date calendar.

TIP: Select by title menu displays events in alphabetical order. Select by date calendar displays online events date in light blue box, offline events in green box, and selected event in dark blue box.

IMPORTANT: If there is more than one event on a selected date, both events are listed with the first event selected by default. Be sure to click the radio button next to the second event if that is the desired event.

3. The selected event date, title, subtitle and attendees is displayed on the left.

Check the boxes for the desired event sections to insert.

TIP: Inserting Upcoming Events includes events with dates starting on the date the email is created.  

4. Select Insert sections you may edit.

TIP: Use this option to change, add or delete section content, or if sending immediately. If scheduling email for future delivery, updates to event information in the event editor DO NOT sync here.

5. Click INSERT.

The event information is inserted into the message area in a table. The content is fully editable.

TIP: The yellow RSVP button carries the Login Bypass Feature. When members click on the RSVP button, they go directly to the event RSVP tab without having to login first.

TIP: In the toolbar, click on Gridlines to display rows and cells for easier editing. Gridlines are never included in the sent email, whether displayed in the editor or not.
