1. Admin Control Panel > GROUPS > GROUP MANAGER
2. GROUP CATEGORY > Enter a title.
Optional: If the group has yearly terms and you'd like a to keep an archive of each year's users/members, toggle term switch to YES.
3. VISIBILITY > Select from the drop-down menu if the group category will be visible to Everyone, Admins & Agents Only, or Selective User/Member Types.
*Selective User/Member Types available only on some sites
If Selective User/Member Types is chosen, use the drop-down menus for each User/Member Type to determine if they will have access to the Group Category.
4. GROUPS > Add titles for each group within the Group Category. Groups are unlimited, click the plus icon to add more.
TIP: Once saved, remove any group from user/member view by toggling the switch from OPEN to CLOSED.
5. POSITION TITLES > Add titles for the various positions members can be assigned. Click the plus icon to add more.
TIP: Once saved, remove any position title by clicking the red X.
6. Click SAVE ALL.
7. Toggle the switch from CLOSED to OPEN to officially bring a group category online.
Group Categories display under GROUPS > GROUP CATEGORIES in the Admin Control Panel.
*When a group category is CLOSED, it will not be listed here. Find a closed group in the Group Manager.
Click DIRECTORY to see your newly created croup category in the Directory.
Use the CATEGORY and GROUP drop-down menus to view your other categories and groups.

Click MANAGER to return to the Group Manager.
Use the drop-down menu under group category to change the settings of any group category.
Click the plus icon to
create a new group category.
Groups display in the Group Roster view for members.
Members only have access to a Group Category if it has been added to the Navigation Menu. Send a message to support@chapterpro.com if you'd like a Group Category added to the Navigation Menu.
