To add a non-member to a forum, first add them as a member so they are in list of names to select from, add them to the forum and then make them inactive. The member name remains listed in the forum, however their name is not underlined and does not link to a profile, and does not display in member directory.
1. Admin Control Panel > MEMBERS > click ADD MEMBER.
2. Enter First Name, Last Name (and a birthdate if required) > click SAVE.
3. Admin Control Panel > GROUPS > click FORUMS.
4. Select FORUM from tab bar.
*Forum tab titles vary by site.
5. ADD A MEMBER > select Active Year > select Forum Title > select name > click add.
6. User Menu > SEARCH DIRECTORY > enter first name and last name > click enter/return.
7. On member profile > click edit profile.
8. PERSONAL > check box Inactive > click SAVE.
Name in Forum list is added, name does not link to profile.
