There are two options for managing
the learning year video on site. Use one, or
the other, or both!
A. LINK TO OFFSITE VIDEO
1. Upload video file to any online
vendor, i.e. Vimeo/YouTube, Dropbox, Google
folder, etc. > copy URL > send
URL to support@chapterpro.com.
TIP: video cannot be set to Private. Can
be set to "only those with link may
access".
2. We add the link to your site setup > video icon is added to the landing page/HOME and Event Calendar page next to learning year theme.

B. PLAY VIDEO USING POP UP ALERT NEWS
A pop up alert news item displays the video
on the desktop HOME page in a pop up window
(with option to Close or Close and don't show
again), and on the mobile site in front of the
Calendar landing page once.
1. Upload video file to Vimeo or
YouTube account > click SHARE.
TIP: video cannot be set to Private. Can
be set to "only those with link may
access".

VIMEO: LOGGED IN TO ACCOUNT, Click Share > Copy embed code
YOUTUBE
2. Follow instructions for Vimeo or YouTube:
VIMEO > Embed > highlight code > copy.
YOUTUBE > click Embed…
then click COPY.
3. Go to Admin Control Panel > Info > CUSTOMER SERVICE.
4. Enter request to create news pop up alert for learning year video > paste embed code > click SEND.
5. We create a News item selecting Step 4, Activate Pop Up Alert.
This results in a pop up News item that displays on the website until a member clicks Close or Close and don't show again, or on the mobile app one time only.
Member clicks play icon to watch video.
