All upcoming events are displayed on the HOME page in either LIST VIEW or BANNER VIEW. To have an event not listed on the HOME page, use SUPPRESS DISPLAY on HOME page as next event.
Go to Edit event > DESCRIPTION > CONTROLS > SUPPRESS DISPLAY on HOME page as next event.

Examples for events where Don't show on myHOME page is used:
1. For a Spouse Luncheon event, since members aren't invited, you may not want it on the list of upcoming events on the HOME page. The event is always found on the Event Calendar.
2. When you want to promote an event in the future that isn't the next upcoming event. For example, the August and September events are already full and you want to promote the October event. Check box Don't show on myHOME page on both August and September events. Then the October event becomes the 'next' upcoming event displayed on the HOME page.
*NOTE: An exception is if the type of event selected is Board Meeting. Board Meeting events are only displayed as an upcoming event on HOME for Board Members only, regular members will not see Board Meetings, so checking Don't show on myHOME page is not needed.
