In the Event Editor > DETAILS > DESCRIPTION > a mini toolbar is available to format the content of your event descriptions.
Under Edit, you may Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Paste as text, and Clear formatting.
IMPORTANT: When pasting text from elsewhere, FIRST check the Paste as text button, then paste into the description field to avoid bad html from corrupting your site.
Under Format, you may Bold, Italicize, Underline, and make a Bullet list or Numbered list.
First, highlight the text, then select the Format tool to apply to the text.
In the example below, Bold, Italic and Underline have all been applied.
Here's an example of a Bullet List.
Under Insert, you may add a Link, Remove a link, add Special Characters, link to a Member's profile, and add Emoticons.
Insert a link
Highlight the text you would like to be linked, then click Link...
In the URL field, paste the URL.
TIP: We suggest selecting New window under Open link in. This will open the link in a new browser window or tab while keeping the ChapterPRO site tab open, making it easier to return to.
Click Save.
TIP: Underline your link to make it more obvious the text is a hyperlink.
Insert a member name linked to their profile
Click in the body of text where you want the name inserted, then under Insert select Member Name and click on the name from a list of members displayed.
The member's name is inserted and linked to their profile.
Insert an Emoticon
Click in the body of text where you want the emoticon inserted, then under Insert select Emoticons.
Click on an emoticon from the list. Scroll through the list, filter the list by clicking on the side categories, or use the Search bar.
When you are done formatting the event description, remember to click SAVE.
